Thursday, November 2nd from 7-8pm in WRI’s Red Barn OR via Zoom
The Karakoram mountain range rises to over 20,000 feet. Passage through this mountain fortress involves intricately linking high mountains passes with crevasse ridden glaciers. During the winter of 1994, members of the North Karakoram ski expedition made the first ever daring traverse of the Karakoram Mountains in Northern Pakistan. Join local expedition members, Bill Gaines and Susan Thomas, as they retell their stories and share their breathtaking images.
