Women Don’t Bonk
Why the female physiology is wired to perform for the long haul, and what that means for your training plan.
In this year’s session, we are going to talk about why we are seeing more and more women crushing records, especially in extreme endurance sports, and what the science is revealing about female sport performance—and how to train for it.
We’ll start with a few stories from Lyra’s years of guiding—tales of success and failure—and the ways she has learned to manage her teams (and herself) differently based upon her observations of fitness and physiology.
As always, all are welcome! It is great for everyone to be aware of the best practices in training the female physiology.
